Swim with Annie, The Fine Print

Swim with Annie, Inc., is a business owned & operated by Annie Cooper.
First and foremost, thank you for choosing to swim with me. I am very grateful and humbled by this choice.
Swim with Annie works in collaboration with pools and feels fortunate to be in a working relationship with each facility. Swim with Annie asks that you honor and respect your surroundings.

Please be aware that only the cost of the 30 minute lesson is included via Swim with Annie. When a swimmer is registered to Swim with Annie, that cost does not include  swim time before or after lessons, nor the use of any hot tub, nor use of spa amenities, nor gym equipment use, nor other family members/friends swimming, nor splashing in the pool by a sibling, etc.

~4 swimmers max per class.
~Please note that due to Annie's work style and the value of the relationships with swimmers, Annie can run a few minutes late.
~Annie asks that no swimmer place their hands or feet into the pool while waiting through another lesson for their turn. This creates a distraction in Annie's thinking and she is unable to focus on the swimmers before her. Annie feels responsible for all swimmers in the water and the moment someone's feet or hands are in, her level of responsibility begins to move also towards the child whose hands or feet are entered in the water and detracts from those in the current lesson.
~There are no makeups at Swim with Annie, for no-shows on the part of a swimmer/family due to a swimmer's illness or otherwise.
~If Swim with Annie must cancel due to any reason from Swim with Annie end, a makeup will be offered for the missed opportunity.
~All cancellations due to weather or otherwise will be notified via text/email & Facebook page. Please find our Facebook link at the very top of the Swim with Annie website.
~If Annie cannot make the lesson due to a personal reason but Annie is able to find a highly qualified substitute, this choice may sometimes be made by Swim with Annie & is preferable to cancellation. Notification regarding a substitute swim instructor will be via text/email & Facebook page.
~Finally, a waiver and release of liability form must be gone through when signing up for Swim with Annie.

~Only online registration and payment is accepted at Swim with Annie.
~Please contact info@swimwithannie.com or call 802-922-6700 with registration concerns/problems.
~After registration, a refund may be requested up to 21 days prior to start date and will be provided less a $10 Administrative Fee. Please note that between 7-21 days before start date, a refund may be requested and will be granted, less a $10 Administrative Fee,  ONLY if Swim with Annie is able to fill said space from the wait list for said class. After 7 days preceding the start date, no refund will be given by Swim with Annie, regardless of whether the space can be filled.
~It is allowable to give your space to another family/swimmer if you and they are so inclined. The rules of this require that Swim with Annie receive advance notice (before the lesson begins) as well as a liability of release waiver and all pertinent information from the other family/swimmer before the lesson begins. Please note that the original signed up swimmer's family is still responsible for payment and that Swim with Annie has nothing to do with financial interactions between families.

PT360 Shelburne & Williston
~PT360 built the first indoor pool in Shelburne. We are grateful to rent this luxurious facility. The PT360 owners & Annie have a long-standing work relationship, which Annie is wildly grateful for.
~Swim with Annie rents only the pool & locker room space. The waiting area is off-limits to Swim with Annie participants, as is the gym space & equipment. The pool itself is a magical learning environment, heated to 91 degrees.
~ONLY fully potty trained children may use the PT360 pool. Those under the age of four are usually accommodated at The Spa at The Essex.
~Street shoes must be removed before entering PT360, or directly within their entryway. No street shoes can be worn through the facility, most especially onto the pool deck. You are welcome to bring flip flops to change to.
~Towels are not provided at this facility.
~Please ensure that you are not leaving anything behind as you go and that you pick up after yourself in the locker rooms.
~Food is not allowed inside PT360. Nor are glass bottles or glass containers of any kind.
~PT360 fully appreciates all of the efforts made by families to maintain the beautiful atmosphere within their facility, which allows them to confidently be ready to meet their Monday workday.

The Spa at The Essex
~The Spa at The Essex happily and kindly extends the use of a clean, dry towel to each swimmer and for that we are grateful. Please be sure to place your finished towel in the bin provided for laundering.
~At The Spa we ask that you keep your belongings together by using a locker, thus ensuring nothing is in the way of hotel and spa guests' walking paths. This includes swimmers' shoes, boots, etc. If there is no space in the locker for swimmers' boots and such, please place those discreetly beneath the benches found in the locker rooms. These items may also be placed in a bag to be kept with the parent/adult on the pool deck.
~The Spa Staff fully appreciates the efforts swimmers and their families have put into being quiet and respectful while entering the Spa area.
~Due to pool use by Spa members and hotel guests, pool space will be utilized by Annie to best accommodate everyone within the pool at any given time. Annie may shift or move a lesson to create space for others.
~The cost of the lesson does not include use of The Spa pool or facilities before or after the lesson for the swimmer or any of the swimmer's family/friends/guardians.
~Some families who choose to swim with Annie also happen to be Spa Members and or have paid The Spa Fee to swim for that day.  Therefore some swimmers may remain in the pool with their families after lessons or have siblings swimming while a lesson is ongoing.

It's best to have your swimmer arrive with no more than one adult to their lesson as each facility has limited space for Swim with Annie adults/onlookers.  At PT360, the pool area is close quarters and can only truly accommodate a limited number of people, as well as our need to keep foot traffic to a minimum.  At The Spa, too many people can create a crowded feel on the pool deck and remove the ability for hotel guests and Spa members to utilize the on deck seating. (This rule is slightly more relaxed at The Spa than at PT360. Also, sometimes you just gotta bring the grandparents, etc. Please be respectful when bringing additional people.)
If you must bring a visiting relative, etc, this is understandable, and welcome, on occasion.
